The SVA MFA Design Thesis Forum is a showcase for the master students to present their entrepreneurial ventures to peers and the public; the culmination of nearly two years of design, research, thinking, and making.
How do we refer to a quest for innovation? 19 students creating design-driven ventures that are not only audacious undertaking, but also highly conceived, well-reasoned, intensely vetted and thoroughly tested for a marketplace? Emprise: an adventurous enterprise.
The design result is a representation of the multidimensionality, born by the different personalities and projects to be seen at the event.
I was involved in the entire process, but acted decisively on the graphic system: logo, colors, typography, background illustrations; and ancillaries: booklet, videos, social media.
